| Got a buddy buying a 2003 f250 7.3l that blew a trans seal pulling to much weight. He is getting it for a grand. Needs bed,door and trans work. I think it is a good price but my question is what could he be looking at for trans work. Just a front seal or a complete overhaul. Auto trans are not my thing.any helping info would be great. Oh yeah truck sitting at 180k miles. |

Oh yeah truck sitting at 180k miles. If the front seal blew that tranny got HOT! Complete rebuild and do NOT forget to replace the trans cooler and flush the lines. |
