I have a Canon VIXIA HF M31 camera and need to locate software to for uploading and editing. I have tons of videos to work on.
The software that is offered with it is "Pixela ImageMixer 3SE Video Editing Software" which I am unable to download the full version from their website, only an updater. I can't seem to locate software that recognizes *.MTS extension - am still running Windows XP (upgrading is not an option at this time). This was my Daddy's camera and he passed away 4 months ago so the original discs are gone. Does anyone have this software or be able to direct me. Thank you

According to this site, windows media player will open that file. There are others on the list as well. |

I looked around and did not see where they have an original download –– which is screwed up.

I know Pinnacle Studio 11 can edit those files. I use it for my HG10. I cannot imagine where my Canon disks are or I would offer to copy them for you. I also know that some Canon 'upgrade' software can be tricked into installing with a reg hack. But it looks like Imagemixer is not a Canon product.
Back to Studio 11, it is an older version and can be found on your favorite tore rent sites, if you are into that sort of thing. I, uh, found my copy back when I was burning "HD DVD" dvds. Also, "Any Video Converter Professional" can convert the files which you can then open in other video editing software. Gee, I found that software too, crazy.
