I have seen a few threads on here lately where people have asked if certain types of factory ammo was accurate or wishing for a certain bullet to be made as a factory load.
There are a lot of folks that seem to be intimidated by either the time or money that is takes to reload. The reality of it is that with very modest equipment and less time than you spend in the HTF you can make loads that well out perform factory ammo. I think that I am very experienced as a reloader and have tinkered around with some cutting edge loads ie new powders in 300 Whisper, 208 bullets in 308, etc. and would like to answer any questions for folks who are on the fence. It's easy, not expensive, and something you can do in between all your other obligations. I started out doing it in my college apartment on a tiny bench. I now load for every caliber I shoot and it still doesn't take up much space... Why don't you reload? |

Because I'm still trying to learn...and I don't have the space...
Hoping to pick up some of the beginning material next month though: http://truewilderness.com/store/workshops/fundamentals-of-reloading-workshop.html |
