well I hope it's simple....

after this weekend's HTF shoot I have come to the conclusion I want a better trigger.  some of the guns I shot this weekend just to feel their trigger were phenomenal.  really showed a difference.

my question is, I have the spikes nickel boron BCG. it comes with a coated hammer:
link to BCG

my question is can I or should I use a non coated hammer instead?  obviously a new trigger is going to come with a non-coated hammer so it would have to be replaced.  but are there any concerns about using a non-coated hammer?

sorry for the dumb question but I started 2nd guessing myself.

This makes no sense.

Get a Geissele and be done with it.

If Nickel Boron is so effing tuff then why would it NOT stand up to a regular hammer?

my thought is it would be the other way around.  would the trigger have any issues onthe nickel boron.

That's what I thought it was for....like it would tear up your regular hammer.

There's nothing wrong with a rock river 2 stage match trigger, even less wrong with it if you get it from White Oak Arms and have their magic on it.

What he said! Tho I haven't tried the WOA varient, if it makes the RRA 2 stage mo' betta it must be pretty phenomenal!!!

I have several RRA 2 stagers, and it's the best bang for the buck, IMHO.
