I just bought a full sized M&P for indoor IPSC/IDPA matches. I'm thinking about getting the 3lb Apex competition trigger kit to install in it.

Will the Apex kit be legal for use in IDPA/IPSC production classes?

I'm fairly certain Apex trigger kits are IDPA SSP legal. I have no idea about the IPSC.

Yes, internal modifications are fine.
With the competition kit you are SSP/Production legal.

If you were to go to the FSS trigger from Apex however, you just entered ESP/Limited.
