I dug up a dam last year with a mini excavator I have not found one for this guy... it may be downstream...

At scout camp once, they were doing a reenactment/demo of a beaver/fur trappers' camp of the days of old, and how the trapper would set things up.

someone asked whether it was customary for the trapper to pitch his tent and then go find a beaver, or if it was customary to pitch one's tent only after catching at least one beaver.

at the time, i didn't see what was so funny to all the scoutmasters.
