While I am confident I am missing a hell of a match over at Creekside, I am also proud of keeping my commitment to do the mountain proud this year. I have taken to 'trail-running' this year and was hoping that that might help my times on Currahee. Well...it did. I broke the hour mark this year...just barely mind you, but I did it. 59:28 and let me tell you when I saw that sign ticking away with 59:xx on it I poured on some extra I doubted I had. Two years ago I ran it in 72 minutes, last year I did it in 66 minutes...maybe next year I can manage 55 or so. And now...jacuzzi tub and bourbon...(checks watch)...yeah OK...it's after noon.

No RBGC match today. I have also finally managed to purchase some property. It is up in White county, ask me again about seeing it go bang-bang-bang at the end of the month. It will be making it's debut in my hands next weekend at the HTF shoot. I haven't even sighted it in yet with the new bbl! |
