| Is anyone here running the Fastmags? I'm in the market for some new mag pouches for my PIG and am intrigued by these. This PC will be replacing my Eagle PC and will be primary for classes and bail out PC in my patrol car. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

I've had mine for...little over a year now? Gen 3. I like them a lot, love that I can use for belts and molle gear. I plan to stack a pistol mag on top of one. They also stack to each other if that's your thing. Tension is adjustable...but only in two positions, which all work. Worked fine USGI, Lancer L5 and L5A and Pmags. Lateral movement opens it up when you pull, or you pull straight up, works either way. Never had them fall out on me. Seen some people who mount upside-down which I personally believe is just asking for something to happen. I've seen guys in their cruisers with Fastmags loaded on the go-vest in the passenger seat. I ask about them....they like 'em... |
| I use them on a LBV. I've mounted them for pull-down (inverted). Contrary to the comment above, I've had absolutely no problems with that mounting. Through a number of intense carbine courses which included much movement/rolling around/etc., as an attendee as well as an instructor, never once has a mag come out other than when I pulled it out. Regardless of how you mount them, they work great. |
