| Wasn't there someone here in the HTF that knew him or knew how to get in touch with him? |

I posted some over on his Facebook. He always has little explosions in his videos. His fans are all wanting more and I was trying to out there and help him with that. Man, you'll probably need help carrying all that, right? Sure. Some of that stuff gets heavy. |

My understanding is that his name is Kyle Myers...I've gotten a few emails and calls asking if I had anything to do with some of the equipment he's using (and no, I had nothing to do with any of it...I think)Is there anyway with your connections you can get me in touch with him? |

I believe the range he's got connections to is owned by C3Coop, the other guy involved when we pulled the woman out of a burning car a couple of years ago. Quoted: The indoor range he shoots at in many of his vids is in Lavonia. http://www.tacticalgunsandgear.com/firearm_sales/ |

all of his fan base is cowadooty players That's how he started, but I'm guessing there are some legit people in the million subscribers he has. For a guy that is one of us rednecks with a fake Russian accent, a million subscribers is pretty impressive. I hear he charges a pretty hefty amount to make a video, which is probably well worth it considering the traffic he can bring a gun store. |

I don't think he's ever promoted a single store in any of his videos. Youtube pays big money once you get into the millions of views. Every video he shoots hits 2-5million views. He's bringing in well into the 6 figure range from just Youtube. |

He's bringing in well into the 6 figure range from just Youtube. Damn...... I didn't know that. Take that with a grain of salt. you can be as skeptical as you want, but big time viewers can make you some heavy cash Youtube partners will make in the range of $2.5 to $5 per 1000 video views The most popular stars will earn $5 per 1000 views. A youtube partner will make $.01 per channel view. If a channel has 1,000,000 channel views, the person will make $10,000. |

I'd not be surprised if there were some factoring of repeat "views" from single IP addresses such that incremental views from the same one (such as with someone who just keeps replaying or is using a bot) will not equal identical incremental increase in ad revenue. Plus maybe unique visitors to the channel, so delivering entirely new eyes to the video and ads each time, not just people who already subscribe and already just watch every video when it comes out. Maybe some click-through metrics, too - if everyone just hits the "X" on the ad that pops up instead of clicking it and going to the website, that's not as good for the ones paying to advertise, by affiliate basis or otherwise, as people who actually do something with their ad.
If I tell you about a product 2,000 times, while there is value in repeat messages, the 2000th time i tell you about it is far less effective/valuable than the first time i tell you about it sort of thing. |

Google has their stuff together when it comes to detecting fraud and only paying for certain kinds of traffic in certain time spans. At least on adsense I know they do. |

Hes getting Adsense revenue as well as youtube partner revenue. Its safe to say that he doesnt need to work aside from making and posting gun videos at this point.
Here is a pretty good estimate $1,261.71 - $15,140.55 /day
$460,525 - $5,526,301 /yr ETA: Heres another gun guy who catches a bunch of shit on ARF. Hes laughing all the way to the bank as well. |

You don't pay for an ad unless someone clicks on it and you don't get paid unless someone clicks on it. Google keeps 50%, you get 50%. That's how their normal ads work and I'm guessing the video ones that play before a video work in a similar fashion.
I keep the ads off our videos since our videos are already ads, so having another ad on top of that doesn't make a lot of sense. I'll put them on my planned series of puppy and baby videos that will fund my retirement. |

(and no, I had nothing to do with any of it...I think)
