Ok, I need some suggestions.

I have a friend who just bought her first pistol. She has not fired a gun in quite a few years and didn't shoot pistols then, only rifles.

She wanted to take the NRA first Steps class at GA Firing Lane, but is getting impatient waiting for their range renovations to be completed.

She wants a certified instructor, not just a friend that knows guns.

She is looking close to Kennesaw if possible.

Can anyone recommend a similar class or another location with a GOOD INSTRUCTOR for her to take the class?

Thanks,

Adam

I am NRA certified as well as certified through Rangemaster. I am in West Cobb.

Scott Vandiver is in Marietta - http://www.centerfiretraining.com/

Creekside has a few that are certified - Randall is usually running the range shack.  http://www.creeksidefiringrange.com/
There is also the Ladies Handgun 1 class coming up on the 17th.

Mike Benedict does inexpensive classes and is a great instructor. [email protected]

There are probably a few more that I am missing.
