I got a LaRue 10" handguard for my Stag upper last week. I put it on my self and I'm pretty sure I did an alright job. However I forgot that I needed a new crush washer for my A2 flash hider. So I couldn't torque down the A2 without it being on the wrong way. I tried a few local shops for a extra crush washer but no one had any, and I really hate to order a $2 part online.
So I was wondering if there are any AR smiths that would have a extra crush washer and be willing to install it for me, and maybe give my handguard installation a good look over to make sure I didn't FUBAR the whole thing. I'd install the washer myself but all the vice blocks and wrenches were on loan from a friend and I have to give them back tomorrow. |
| I'm not sure where you are at, but The Firing Lane is Athens keeps crush washers in stock. I'd be willing to bet the guys up there would take a quick look to see if you got the tube on right. I've had them thread a few barrels for me and always did them reasonably, and timely. |
