I am looking for some advice on the best resource for finding land for sale. I have tried several tools on the internet, but most of them either return way too much info, or are extremely vague.

Has anyone had luck with a specific web site or other tool in locating land? Just looking for 3-5 acres for that dream retirement home.

Thanks.

landflip.com can narrow down counties and sizes pretty good

you need to find agents that specialize in land in the ares you want. Lots of times there are plots unlisted but people are interested in selling and you want an agent that knows the area.

I've got 7 acres in between Cochran and Dublin that I'd love to sell you. It's half pasture, half woods, and half way to the middle of nowhere.

I've got 4 plus acres in Loganville that used to be considered the middle on nowhere I'd love to sell you.

We had the best luck just driving around and looking at plots. Most of the ones for sale at least had a sign on them. We just wrote down phone numbers and a description of the property and made phone calls. It also let us look at land without the pressure of a sales agent hounding us.

There's 550 acres for sale close to me. If I could just win the lottery, we'd have a very nice place to shoot.

Sure,

I'm open to offers including trades but I need to move quickly because I'm about to list it with a real estate agent.....

The property in Loganville has a 3x2 double wide that I had roofed about 7 years ago.

It's livable but it needs repairs.

I'm thinking Walton county, possibly Flowery Branch, Jefferson area, but we are not 100% sure yet. I would really like to stay within about an hour's drive from my work so I can move before the actual retirement date. I am not locked into one area. I work near Gwinett Place. I just signed a 5 year lease there, so we are staying in that spot for a while.

Loganville? Middle of nowhere? Bwahaahahahaha, riiight

Now Cochran? That is the middle of nowhere. Hell, you gotta drive 30 minutes over to Eastman to get to the nearest Wal-Mart!
