I am pretty stoked because this is my first SBR and also my first Higher quality build, So I really want to see if all this extra dough is worth it.I also

wanted to build a non-Magpul AR, nothing against Magpul,  I just have their products on all my builds and wanted to try out other stuff.

I really need to get behind the trigger on this thing to see if my initial opinions are wrong. So far I wasnt too stoked on the Knights TG because it rattles, I put

a gapper in it, now its GTG. The EMOD Is definitely not as smooth or locks up as easily as my CTRs. The Troy Bolt Catch seems much more solid than my Bad Levers.

The Badass is exactly that Badass, It is by far the smoothest selector I have handled. As for everything else, I need the stamp back to see if I will be keeping it as is

or switching back to the old reliable Magpul Stuff.

Okay,

First things first, that's real purty.

Second...

I've been tempted to put the money out for an SBR myself and I've even considered how much fun it would be to put a can on my P22 but I have to ask...

<adjusts tin-foil hat>

Isn't applying for a tax stamp basically putting a big fat target on your head if/when the jack-booted thugs show up to confiscate our weapons?

And, just to be clear, I'm not even remotely suggesting that someone should own one of the aforementioned items (or any NFA item) without following all of the proper legal procedures. Most every gun owner that I know believes that, at some point in time, the government is going to want to disarm it's subjects. Isn't this process just giving them a road-map to your home with the knowledge that you possess NFA items?

My answer to the question of why  is BECAUSE YOU CAN in this great state. As for the road map to my house, Im not so worried. I think if they did decide to go door to door collecting guns, They would

get to about the third house and all hell would break loose. And my question to this is who would come door knocking? ATF- doesnt have the man power. FBI / Police hell they are just regular guys with shitty paychecks.

Millitary? Hell NO, they are our neighbors first. The UN, hmmm. Now theres a possibillity, but that would be foreign forces on US soil. Id call that an invading force and wouldnt be alone in showing them the door. So in my

tinfoilhat world. GETTEM WHILE YOU CAN.

What was that quote" behind every blade of grass, a rifle". I already have enough arms for my street, now Im working on the Subdivision.

Sorry for the rant.

I was rather hoping the GAHTF was beyond the typical gun show misinformation and paranoia.

Dude, if you have ever filled out a 4473 you are on THE list.

Owning NFA items doesn't make you any more "watched" than anyone else.  Enjoy your freedoms.
