Is the RTF2 texture on the G21SF alot grippier than the standard texture? I love the SF, but it shifts a bit in my hands.

Yes it is. I've got one and absolutely love it. It is one of the nicest .45s I've ever shot. The RTF is not as aggressive as the 17/19s but it is just enough to keep the gun in your hand while driving the gun hard.

ETA: If you are looking to get one....better act fast.....they are almost all gone. There were only 2000 produced as a special run for two large state LE agencies. The over runs were released for sale as LE blue label guns.

I don't believe so. I'd equate it to a set of grip tape on a grip. A fine italian suit may not like it, but everything else should be good to go.

It is slightly less aggressive than the 17/22 RTF2 guns due to the fact the small spikey dimples are spaced out just a smidge more on the large frame gun. But in my opinion it is borderline to rough to carry. I have carried mine IWB under an untucked T-Shirt and it shredded up the t-shirt pretty bad.
