1. Went to the gun show on Hutchinsion Island in Savannah today. It was spur of the moment and it was OK.
2. I finally got off my tail and joined GCO. I am now a card carrying mamber!!! 3. I purchased the 5y/o boy a S&W M&P air soft gun. It was quite entertaining and well worth the $5.00 I paid for it. 4. On the way home I ate at Five Guys Burger and Fries. It was very good but expensive at almost $12.00 for a cheese burger, small fries and small drink. I will eat there again. The boy spied the water play area @ Market Street Near Five Guys and we wasted several hours playing in the water, throwing a football and listening to live music. I was a great day for the boy and myself!!!! TD |

I thought you were going to say you lost your virginity.
Just kidding. Anyway, the trick to five guys is to just order 1 order of small fries for a couple people. They dump a cup in the bag, then give you another cup full, which is a shit ton of fries for one person. |

Wish I would have known....
I actually looked at one of the T's for my boy but he didn't have children's sizes It really was spur of the moment. I don't normally go to shows to begin with since I live it 6 days a week but I was reading the Savannah fish wrapper after breakfast and saw the advertisement. I had never been to a show at that location and I didn't have to support Matt Eastman so I went. Jim at Main Street had a rather large spread as usual. I can recall when he was just starting out. As a matter of fact he handled a few transfer for me back in the day. There was a guy selling S&W Sigma's for $295 and Springfield XD's 399 in the general area you describe. Was that your table? I recall thinking how that dealer was selling for a few dollars over cost otherwise I didn't even price anything. TD |

I was at the Shooters table. Seemed like a really small show, but I haven't been to one in about fifteen years. Ed asked for some help yesterday, and I started to get a feel for the gun show stories folks like to post. I wanted to start asking what people's screen names were...
ETA: Sorry for the hijack. Sounds like a good day with the kid. |
