Its a shame that some of the incumbents are running again unopposed. I had my mind set to not vote for any incumbents. My state House and Senate reps support my rights, freedom and have voted for every progun bill. They return calls and e-mails with one off letters, not form letters. Why would I not vote for them based solely on the fact that they are incumbents? |
| I refused to cast a vote for Lt. Governor Casey Cagle because "he has no appetite" for fighting for the return of any more of our firearms freedoms. F%&* him. Since when is it about what he wants? He is supposed to represent what we want. I may vote against him in November too. Putz. |

I didn't vote for the ones running unopposed. I found the bonus questions interesting.
I voted for my GA Sen. Renee Unterman. She has done a pretty good job voting the right way. My current State Rep. Mike Coan, had a pretty good voting record too, but he took an appointment from Sonny. Had to vote for a new guy. Hopefully he won't be a turd. I have a bad feeling that we're gonna have 4 years of no RKBA progress in the state if Barnes is elected Gubner. |

We voted. I voted against incumbents and did not vote in unopposed races to make it easier for writeins. But I really don't know what you guys are talking about on the candidates. I didn't see ANY of the names you guys mentioned. I voted for thurbert though... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

OK. I think that Baker has a slim possibility of creating a run-off for Barnes. If King Roy has to spend some of his millions on a run off it will weaken him in the general elections. The inevitable mud slinging between them will also make fertile ground for what ever republican wins. Like a lot of people I didn't care for any of the republicans running. I'll fall in line and support whoever wins the nomination, but didn't feel comfortable supporting any one of them over the others. So I voted strategically. The NPR hit piece on Thurman yesterday really helped make up my mind. They said while he has a lot of support most Georgians "realize" he would not be a viable candidate in November and will therefore not vote for him now. Sounded like who I want running against a Republican, even if they are a Republican in name only... |

Quoted: Quoted: yea black, but only .5% reporting in. At 6% Karen Handel 12,520 30% Nathan Deal 10,415 24% John Oxendine 8,663 20% Not that I'm a fan of any of them... but any of them are better than Roy "amber lamps chasing" Barnes. He makes well over a million a year. As the Beatles said, "I don't care too much for money, money can't buy you love, only elected office..." |

Tough Night .... my campaign lost. It seemed to be Establishment Republican night. 2 more years of Sharon Cooper. :(
Muddiver lost as well. :( We lost a friend in Incumbent Senator John Wiles. :( Most of the 9/12 / Tea Party types lost. Neither Deal or Handel are gun rights focused so that mean we'll have another 8 years of having bills killed in the backroom. :( All in all ...... if you were more like Lindsey Graham, the better your chances of victory. |

Interesting titbit's: Handel is supported by Sarah Palin and Deal is supported by Newt Gingrich.
HUM. I respect and trust the knowledge and leadership of Newt a lot more than I do Palin. But that being said they are both good people. I just like Newt better. He seems to project credibility and respect more. NEWT FOR PREZ. |
