Hi,
I'm moving to Lawrenceville from Michigan this summer. I'm looking forward to having a warm(er) Christmas this year. I've been active in the RKBA scene in Michigan. I'm pretty sure that once I get the family settled in, I'll be getting active again in Georgia. I was wondering if you guys/gals could point me at some of the groups in Georgia. I'm really interested in any online forums so I can get a gist of what's going on legislatively in the state. I also used to shoot with the American Confederation of Tactical Shooters . Are there any groups in Georgia similar to that? (Think IDPA with rifles) Also, does anyone have any recommendations for shooting clubs or ranges in the Lawrenceville and Atlanta area? Thanks! |

Welcome to GA.
If you are interested in RKBA, then you need to join http://www.georgiacarry.org/. Best $25 you'll spend. They have helped us advance RKBA further in 3 years than the National-organization-who-shall-not-be-named would have done in 150 years. |

| Be prepared for the Yankee jokes. As for indoor ranges you have Bullseye in downtown Lawrenceville lots of NFA toys to rent. Long range you have Gunsite Hills about 30 minutes out and Creekside on the other side of ATL which is 90 minutes away, but worth the drive. |

And now you can buy a SBR
And now you can buy a can And now you don't have to take a stupid 4 hour written exam for the state And now you don't have to register all your handguns like it's a crime in progress And now you can spend all that money you would have spent on illegal fees on some ammo and guns You're going to be so happy in (what's left of) America. |
