anybody know what the average ffl fees are for shops around atlanta? thinking about orderin somethin but gotta go through a ffl so. thanks

$20 is fair as most places.

I think it's $10 at Fastfirearms...if they're still doing that. That may have been a grand opening special.

What are you ordering? Chances are that the FFL you're going to might have it and save you a little money.

Where are you located? Saving $10 doesn't really matter if you have to drive all the way across atlanta to do it. I know that Forsyth County Pawn used to charge $10 and My guy in Winterville, outside Athens does as well.

All the cheap places are way too far away after factoring in gas if you live inside the perimeter. In my experience $25-35 is about average with Tucker Gun being the cheapest. However, I've never used them before so I can't vouch for the shop. Other places like Chuck's in Buckhead are finicky about what they transfer and will not do it if it is a dealer they stock. They would prefer you to pay 20-30% more by buying directly from them.
