Anyone else out there that will buy a gun, then want another right afterwords? If i go a few weeks i'm ok, but got that m&p45 last week, still haven't got my parts for it in the mail, and already wanting another handgun. Maybe it's just me.

I am like that too.  Just ask Derek at 400 J&L.  He must think I need professional help

I used to be like that.  Bought a new sig sauer every other week.  There were tons I never took out of the box, much less shot.

Every gun I own now has a specific purpose, but I'm starting to find more and more purposes / excuses.

i'm that way with black rifles, buy a stack of stripped lowers and they would magically grow parts, it's was amazing to watch

Well, i have a great time with my AR's, now i want another pistol so my gf has something to shoot when we go sunday, other than mine. Found a "Baby" desert eagle in .40s&w for $400 thats probably had maybe 10 rounds fired through it, and a lil lightweight s&w hammerless .38 for $300 today, but nothing that really said "buy me". I liked the .38 for her, but not gonna be a lot of fun at the range and the ,40 is being held till mar. 20th before it can be sold, doubt i can wait a month.

I have BRD, I am a gunoholic. I have a dream list in the gun safe and everytime I mark one off the list I add two more. I am up to approx $38,000 in wants.

It just seems that I buy a gun, take it out and shoot it, figure out how I want to set it up, order most the parts and buy another gun. Its a vicious cycle.

I picked my AR Saturday afternoon and was looking at a High Standard .22 pistol this afternoon.

Hello.  My name is Brownie and I'm a gunoholic.

I wasn't always a gunoholic.  When I was a child, I played with toy boats n cars n trucks n stuff.  I don't remember how old I was when I got my first toy gun.  But I do remember it was a western revolver cap pistol.  My Maw and Paw didn't see the harm in giving such a gift to their little boy.  The pistol was real pot-metal with a polished nickel finish and had white plastic grips and felt so good in my hand.  I relished loading it with caps.  Nothing like the smell of the smoke from a busted cap.  Sometimes, I would smell my pistol, just to smell that gunpowder smell.  Man, I was wishing to catch a rustler or some stalking indians.  I eventually moved up to a black dual-holster gun belt with a little bullet pockets for plastic bullets and a pouch for extra caps.  The studs on that gun belt matched my spurs and cowboy hat.  Oh, and I could twirl a pistol in my right hand just like......
........now I'm still as pathetic.  I'll always be a gunoholic.  Once a gunoholic - always a gunoholic.  I just don't buy rolls of caps anymore.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.
Some would say I have a problem - I'm not willing to admit to it yet!

Me too.  I have said, "well, this is my last one" numerous times now.  I can distract myself with handguns or bolt guns, but I always come back to ARs or AKs.  I look at them online and obsess until I finally get the parts to build one.  As soon as I do, I haven't even fired it before I am obsessing about the next.

I had to set a gun budget for myself so I wouldn't blow my entire paycheck on guns and accessories each month.

My wife and I are both gunaholics.  She told me just yesterday that she wants to one day have our very own armory in the basement.  Isn't she great?  I love that she shares my obsession with firearms.  She's already ok'd me building a Bohica Mk. III as long as I get her an AR-10.

That's hard to say.  It's only about 40 minutes for me and it is worth it for me.  Maybe someday you will have to run errands that will lead you half way there, then you can go for it.

[Obama] Gajeep, you have WAY more than your fair share of 550 packs, we're going to need to take some of those and redistribute them to some of the lesser fortunate ARFCOMers.[/Obama]

Only took a year or so!

I'm still waiting for the right spot to post the pic with all the lowers and the bottle of scotch.  Not sure this thread can handle a 96 pack of lowers.

Emu, your floor is becoming famous.

Attention all HTF's.... if you ever want to order your own 72 pack of virgins, Emu will be glad to help you out!  Good guy.  Y'all need to stop by his place in Madison some time and see the famous floor.  lol

I know a lot of people do transfers here on arfcom, but I don't know anyone else who will go to their shop during the 1st half of the superbowl to do a transfer.

PS... I got my box of mags to go with my superbowl 308!  Thanks again!

What part of Georgia you in?  If you are in south Georgia, you can bring her over to shoot some AR10s.

Of course, mine are ArmaLites as they are the only ones who make the AR10.
