You haven't heard alot about them because honestly we've been at a loss as to what could be done. Well with the help of some amazing people: now we know! There's going to be a plea for money at the end of this so please read all the way through...

Kevin has a collie and a mix that he rescued. They were very, very loyal to just him and only him; having come from a rough background and the amount of care and attention he gave. So with his passing they were distraught and scared and wouldn't come to anyone else! Even his Dad!

His parents asked that we find a home from them but it was seriously beginning to look bleak... until Jessica Lu brought her friend Diana Lawrence over. Diana had met Kevin once and even came to Highlands that night... But more importantly she's a dog trainer!

It took her 1/2 an hour to get them in the house and another 1/2 an hour to calm down and another 1/2 an hour to get them into a kennel in her car. Jessica and Diana are on the way to her house where they'll stay tonight. The collie will stay with Diana and the extremely shy mix is going to be fostered by another family that specializes in that type of behavior.

So the $$$ part. The collie needs some medical attention immediately from a skin disorder that's gone un-medicated and unchecked for the last week. Plus they both will build costs against the foster families for food and care. I believe that someone who is helping a friend of ours should not have to pay for doing so. I ask... beg of you to help. It was heartbreaking thinking of what almost happened to his animals without the help of these people.
