to shoot past 100 yards anywhere between the FL border and Brunswick that is non member/ member oriented. I don't have anything right now that could really reach out there and touch something but I really want to try to get into long/medium range shooting and the WMA 100 yard range just aint cutting it anymore. Heck, that drive to the Ware WMA is an hour for me as it is.

The next range that is "close" and free is just this side of Lake City in Florida. Takes about an hour and a half to get there from here in Kings Bay. They have a 200 yard range (WMA range). If you go on the last sunday of the month (Not during the holidays usually though) the FDCC meets there and has a friendly pistol/rifle competition, shooting for best time.
You can check out the Florida Defensive Carbine Club, website for directions. Good group of folks to shoot with. I haven't been out to a shoot there in over a year though due to church comitments, and back surgery, but I've been itching to get back out there since recouperating. |
