I'm in Pennsylvania for work. We went to the worst gun show ever today.

599 for a new G19 w/ 1 mag

499 for a used G19

1299 for a M&P AR

599 for 1k of American Eagle xm193, and the guy tried to tell me that that I couldn't get any 5.56 anywhere else cheaper. I just laughed and walked away.

What a waste of 7 bucks, at least I got a good laugh.

That's fucked up. I would have made an ass out of myself asking why they stripped mags from new guns. ALL Commercial guns come with 2. Always have.

Here lately the gun shows are only good for the FTF sales, lots of panic buyers in need of money NOW.

reminds me of matt eastman's shows here in macon.  last one i went to about 2 years ago, so schmuck was peddling g21 trade-ins that looked pretty rough.  one mag, no box or anything else...$525.

heck,
I went the eastman show here yesterday spet 13,2009 @ indian trail road and went by the ar bunker booth and asked if they had any sig 232's and he showed them to me and were priced at $699.00 WHOA i was amazed.
I did buy a few parts I needed but there prices are ridiculas and you would have to be a fool to buy from most of them or have a ton of $$$ to just give way IMO.
So when I got home i called adventure outdoors and they said between 600 & 700 and still thought that was high them tried one other place "Nicks gun range" in canton and there price was $509.00 and then I knew where I was buying/pricing anymore guns I plan on buying.

I have been going to gun shows for over 20 years and only ever bought 1 gun ( smith 642 ) from a show and all they want to do is rip you a new one.

Now don't get me wrong there are a few good folks there who will deal but places like ar bunker and most the big ones are only there to rip you a new one.

There is one guy there from marietta/canton who sells alot of ar stuff I think his name is Chris ( semper fi arms )  & has ffl plus he posts here and will deal with you on a strait level kudo's to him unfortunatly he is one of the few though.

Not sure what part of PA you are in, but if you are near Philadelphia, or the NE suburbs, you have to go check out Tanners Sports Center in Jamison, PA.  They have the best prices ever, and are always cheaper than anyone on gunbroker as well.  That will make up for the crappy gunshow experience.
