| I got to go to a private range this weekend with my 9yo and several friends. My son got to shoot a full auto uzi with a .22 kit installed with tracers, that was cool. I got to shoot a full auto SBR 6.8, full auto SBR (8.5") .50 Beowulf (several loose teeth now) and some other fun stuff. I also had fun shooting golf balls with my patrol rifle. I also introduced two new shooters to the world of EBR's. Had a great time. That is all. |

I got to shoot a VZ24 Mauser this weekend..... converted to .458 Win Mag!! punishing from prone, not as bad as you would think standing. I would not bench shoot that thing though ever. would hold the 9 ring on an SR-1 target at the full 200 yds though.
How far did the 22,s trace out? always thought about getting a few for the boy to shoot in his Cricket "precision rifle"... |
| I was shooting the golf balls regular style. I don't have a launcher. The .22's traced all the way to the 25 yard steel target my son was shooting at, but I'd imagine that they would trace a lot farther. Needless to say the full auto uzi and the .22 tracer was not mine. It was in a green box and I think it was "piny mountain" or something like that. The full auto, four pound .50 was sick. I've got some video and I'll post it as soon as its emailed to me. |
