here a link to a gunbroker sale for a gsg 1st anniversary gun it looks sweet. does anyone in ga have one?

It's the SD model that has been out for like 3 months. It has a fat rubberized hanguard and a fatter fake can. Other than that this dude has just thrown a bunch of accessories with it.
They make both a nickel and titanium finish model. They debuted at SHOT in January. I've handled them at the SHOT and at the shop, I like them better than the regular models. If you would like some specific information there is a GSG Forum. |

the linked i posted was not the first one i seen i was going to post a differant one but then i saw that one. i dont think i ever saw the gsg fourm. since i have one i might look @ it. just thought it look better then one i have just might look into getting another and give my little girl mine old one we can go shooting together.

Wow, I guess you got me.
He has gotten so many positive responses already, now I DO feel like an asshole. BTW- I've updated my post to be a little more helpful to someone looking for info. What have YOU done to help the guy out other than turn this into another bashing GD style post? |

He never said anything about this being the wrong place.
If anything he was inferring "if you wanna talk geeky about GSG's , this is the place" but didn't really approach the GA question. I know this.......because I thought he was addressing me and that's the vibe I felt. |

I traded mine in when I bought a Tac Sol Upper and build an M4 training gun. I never shot the GSG anymore, so back to the shop it went. 
The auction you posted looks like it is about $40-50 high. T means Titanium, N means Nickel. Honestly I only ordered Titi models as I really didn't like the look of the nickel. Sorry your thread got derailed into the shitter. That was never MY intention. |

GSG-5 as I've seen them. Picky, fragile, needs all screws replaced as soon as you get it. Needs charge handle buffer to keep it from breaking. Seen several bolts cracked, springs get whacked, sights fall off, you name it. Mags are overpriced too. Worth $300 tops. Sold mine bought a Spikes upper, 2 mags and still had beer money left over.  The new AK looks a bit better built. |
