Crime Alert
Armed Robbery On 7/14/2009 at approximately 5:15PM, a Georgia Tech employee was driving home in his personal vehicle on Tech Parkway, when a white in color Chevy, possibly from the 1980’s side swiped his vehicle causing damage to the right quarter panel. The employee pulled over to check the damage when a black male from the white Chevy wearing a white tank top T-Shirt and tan shorts with dark sunglasses approached the employee and displayed a black automatic handgun. The armed black male pointed the handgun to the employee and demanded the employee’s money. The employee did give his money to the armed suspect. The suspect then entered the white Chevy front passenger side and fled the scene going North on Northside Drive. There is no description of the diver in the white Chevy. No one was injured in the incident. The indent was reported to the Ga Tech Police department on 7/15/2009 at approximately 7:25AM. Description of Suspect and Vehicle: Black Male White tank top T-shirt, tan shorts, with dark sunglasses Armed with a black automatic handgun White in color Chevy from 1980’s with red paint on the driver’s side door. |
