I wanted to make a new topic for this, as suggested by kylestyle.  In order to come up with some ideas for a new HTF shirt, I wanted everyone to brainstorm and post ideas, pics, whatever you could come up with.

After we beat this into the ground for a few days I can come up with a couple of preliminary designs and see how everyone likes them.  We'll also take suggestions on who could do the actual shirts.  Goatboy said a HTF shirt project went south recently, so I want to make sure everyone's comfortable with everything.

so far, I understand that a lot of people didn't like the Skull, and some are anti-"dot com" blatantly tossed on it.  What else didn't everyone like about it?  How can it be improved?

Do we want a back-only design?  Front only?  Back design with a logo on front?  Front design with a small splash on the back?  Anything on the sleeves?  Should we put it on a mesh tank top?

Back design doesn't mean much to me because I always wear a cover shirt. Front design should be small and subdued.

good point.  I'm wearing a lot more tshirt/overshirt combos now that I carry.  Note taken.

yeah I'm down with just a front design if it's cheaper, if its standard for front/back some small  AR15.com GA HTF text

I personally like the idea of having an ar15/silhouette of one in the mix other than that I'm pretty open

I think I just threw up in my mouth.

i like the .223 brass idea but wouldn't that be too small  for the entire shirt? I have a barrett shirt that has .50 cal brass falling down the front. it=badass

To guard against this going south during ordering/printing, I'm looking into using Cafe Press, which will pretty much put any graphics/logo on just about anything.  This way if we like the logo enough it can go on coffee mugs, jerseys, bumper stickers, etc.

Figured I'd link to a "hot item" on that site.

I traded PMs w/goatboy, and he said we needed to assess interest and come up with a few designs before they could approve anything.

1. Design HTF logo
2. Toss ever-popular ARFCOM logo on it
3. ???????
4. PROFIT!!!!!

That's why I thought about cafepress.com first, because that way everything is made-to-order, and no one puts up money.

the late Ga Flag hanging vertical with 2 black rifles crossed laying over it.....i think that would look kinda cool or some design to that affect....this will show something recognizeable about GA at least.  current flag sucks...

ETA or put a black rifle in the white stripe of teh newest flag

i honestly didn't remember what the new flag looked like and had to go look it up, I still think of the old one as the ga flag

Just add anteater!        Must have the anteater.  Similar to

This I really like and it's "tasteful and discrete".

I would suggest main logo on back, small logo on front left chest. Personally, I don't wear many/any full front logo shirts. To me they are reminiscent of a cheesy vacation shirt. YMMV.

As far as logo design ... I am not creative so I don't have much to offer in that respect. However, I am in the camp of nothing too gory or graphic. I thought the last shirt with the skull design was very cool. I ordered 3. My wife doesn't get too excited about me wearing them out in public though. She is also afraid they will scare our little one. To be honest, I don't usually wear them out much anyway as I CC and don't want to call a bunch of attention to myself. They usually get range duty and wearing around the house or under a cover garment.

The original design is not bad if the skull could be replaced with the Ga state outline.

my kid loves my "Stone Cold Steve Austin" shirt; the original one with the skull?

One night while I was working at the table she put little smilie face stickers on the skull's teeth and ears.  "Look!  He's pretty now!"

I like the idea of the GA State outline.  I'm probably going to start on this tonight and come up with some sketches.  (sure wish this forum had multi-quote)

What about a black shirt with a white m-16 A2 zero target covering the front. The black grid lines with the small humanoid target on the chest. Instead of the circle in the center it could be a bolt face logo. Add some GA text where the instructions on zeroing are at the bottom.

HMMMMMMMMMM,

Not so sure I'd want to wear a target on my chest.......

Kinda reminds me of that old Far Side cartoon, "Bummer of a birthmark Hal."

This could work if it was on the back.

I wish I hadn't misse the original skull shirt.  I need to hang out in HT forum more often

I think we should just do another run of those. Mine are too small now.

On vacation at the moment but would love to help out on the design. Cafe press is a big rip. I say use someone local possibly. Frank heads to basic next week so he cannot do it. I get back sunday and would like to help out if needed in the design process. Just let me know if you all need me.

With this text as the headstamp?  That would rule!

Back design with a logo on front, with the front logo centered.

OR, how about a departure from the standard t-shirt?  Maybe something that buttons up, like a bowling shirt with a logo on the back?
