Anyone reccomend someone in GA that does the conversion work?

I like it stock (unconverted) but the LOP is way too much for the wife to use.

I'ld really rather keep the weapon here in state & get the business to someone local if possible.

Thanks!

Sorry Book if this is too WTB-ish...

I have three kids under the age of eight.

I have NO time, much less very many tools.

I am willing to turn a wrench, but it's difficult to get instruction much less the proper time to work on it & do a good job.

What might take someone 4 or 5 hours over a weekend would take me probably 2 mths.

If it comes to that, sure.  I've got a basement with some tools.  If anyone wants to come to Winder and bring their Saiga and parts, I'd be happy to help them.

I did mine in an hour or two, and was working slowly since it was my first time.  I even ground down the G2 trigger with my dremel, rather than spending the extra couple of bux for the pre-ground part.

I *did* use the SaigaTech trigger guard (made by a guy in Lawrenceville), not the traditional riveted one.  I'm not set up to do the rivets...

Here's a picture of my S12 before I traded it off:

I paid a gunsmith out for town to do mine and allthough I was worried it came back great.
Might be easy as some say but did not want any problems and this guts work is every bit as good as tromix's is but he won't do any more of them.
There is a guy at the gun show " west Ga Armory " and he does alot of AK47 conversions and this is the same so.
His name is John Graig and almost let him do mine but last second I got the original guy I wanted to do it.
I got most if not all my conversion parts from blackjackbuffers.com and that guy "randy" is a good guy to.

I have sinced added a few 10 round siaga magazines and a poly choke.

That was a pic with the clear abs mag and looked cool.
And still yet to shoot it but will soon.

Hey it doesn't take that long to do shoot (not literally)any one with basic mechanical skills can do that.  so I'm pretty sure you can do it in a jiffy if you have all the parts ready to go.
