It looks like our new proxy will be blocking ARFCom soon. I am still on the old one for now, but it is only a matter of time. They blocked it a while back but the next day it was open again. Maybe a big wig will have enough pull to get it opened back up. Too bad 'Firearms' is such a bad thing and must be banned with a broad stroke.

Wow, it seems they are going to manage access on almost a per user level, sort of. We have a LARGE company and it is very petty here, once one guy or small group gets access others will bitch and whine that they want it too. I am sure it will work just fine this time around.(Smell that? That's sarcasm.)

Welp, I have been checking the new proxy periodically and today ARFCom opned up completely without warnings about icky guns and such. IT is no longer blocked!
I guess a big wig complained about not being able to surf here. I guess I need to be carefuller about what I post. I love my job at Hewlett Packard.
