My step daughter lost her father last December. There was no will after he passed to be found so things had to go to probate. The family had tried to exclude her completely from any inheritance and the attorney on their side threw every roadblock up they could, even hiding assets. I really didn't know where to turn so I dropped Doug a line to see if he could help. Well, to make a long story short, the probate court wanted to ignore Doug at first. That didn't work. He did all of the legalese research contacted the attorney for their side and according to Doug, Jack was not real happy about it. Two days later an equitable agreement was reached that would not have happened without Doug's intervention and several trips down here from Atlanta.
Thanks Doug, I appreciate you looking out for my Daughter. Bill |
| I definitely need to add to this. Doug would be the first and only lawyer I would ever recommend to anyone to represent them in Ga. He helped me out a great deal with my little Fulton Co. situation and I owe him more than the money I payed him (Sorry Doug, I'm broke right now) and I hope some day I will be able to repay him for all the help he gave me. By the way, his wife is extremely helpful as well. |
