Is he dead or alive? Hasn't answered email in a few days...wasn't home when he told me to come over to pick up my suppressor today(and driving from Douglasville to his house f'ing sucks...not to mention it really sucked driving home in the blizzard). Hasn't return any my calls to his office number.
So ya I'm assuming something bad happen. |
He had a busy weekend. He was at the AK class on Saturday and the minute it was over.....him and Allen had to Jet. Said they had somewhere to be and that he was busy all day Sunday and would not be back near a computer til Monday to do the AAR on the AK class. Hes a busy dude

I think one of us needs to take a list of the people that bug the shit out of him and tune them up some. I honestly feel bad 'cause I know where he is coming from- I spend a lot of time on the phone handling basic bullshit.
An ASP Baton could free up some valuable time. |

I seriously hope that was directed towards me ikickhippies. Nope, No one in particular. My response was not directed at anyone. I know that we both have a lot of time wasted. Wasting time DOES NOT mean things that actually make money- like buying, picking up, or actual pre-purchasing questions. Mark and I both get a lot of "Is it there yet" calls -these waste time. I can't keep up orders and check stuff in and check my call list if I'm answering the phone 100 times a day. I am by no means speaking for Mark- he can answer this stuff his own way. I am only saying that I can relate to staying busy all day every day. Quoted:
*unrelated note* What is so f'ing difficult about turning your lights on when its snowing like crazy :/ Efin' Yankees. |

Gotcha.
I actually did pretty well in the bugging Mark department...I didn't. The only time I communicated with him since the initial paperwork was when he emailed me this past tuesday to setup the pickup...and only called him today as that was what he asked me to do if he didn't answer his basement door. The thing that sucks for me is now I doubt I'll me able to pick it up for a couple of weeks due to work :/ |

Allen gives me a hard time about taking up safe space. I work crazy hours, in and out of town, so I am just not able to be around as much as I would like. We were planning on doing the hand off last week, but I got sick as a dog. It wiped out half our E.R... amazing. |

If thats the case it would have been nice for him to let me know the appt he scheduled was off and to not waste my f'ing time driving to his place. That shit isn't cool. They are both very very busy. They would not miss an appointment if they could help it. ARH |

I'm sure Mark or Alan will get back in contact with you regarding your purchase. I'm in the same boat as you as I bought a can from him in Dec and haven't called once to check on paperwork. I know he'll hit me up when it's in. good luck man. |

You could always pitch a tent, light up a fire, and wait for him to come home. I am sure the neighbors would be like WTF!??
Sorry about the long drive both ways. I am sure there is a good excuse. He may have scored a roll in the upcoming film with Sly Stallone and Arnold :) |

Mark,
Sorry to here about your girlfriends Dad. Its tough, I got the t-shirt when my girlfriends Mom passed. My wife ( I married her a year later) still says thanks for being there, providing a shoulder to cry on & a hand to hold onto. I have read here about your family problems too. I haven't meet you in person just on the web and my prayers go out for you to be strong & make it through the shitty stuff. You have made lots of friends here that are ready to step in if you need. Jut ask. Ken |

Mark, you have a girlfriend? Does Allen know you're cheating on him? Now THAT'S funny! No one better to kick you while you're down than friends. Just thought I'd add a little levity to a heavy subject. If you hadn't of posted it I would have. |

Mark.....man,I really hope next time someone asks where is Bookhound?............the answer is he took off to Bora Bora(with his girlfriend)since he just won a bazillion dollars in the lottery. I don't think hes coming back. You deserve as much.
Hope all turns out well. Sorry for your shitty string of bad luck all the time......but I know how you feel. It was really good training with you on Saturday. You have really come a long way since the first time we trained together many years ago. |
