Could someone point me in the direction of a shop that has snap caps in stock?  I have never purchased a set so I am not sure if this is something shops keep around.

Thanks!

most ranges i've been to have them.  careful though, i bought some cheap ones online, "dumunition" i believe, that were painted......paint flaking can't be good for the weapons.  used a few of them, then saw the flakes and never used them.

just my opinion, maybe it doesn't matter....

someone else follow me up, i'd like to know.

Just take some empty cases, pop the primers out, and fill the pocket with silicone caulk. Viola, snap caps.

I've used all kinds of inert training ammo. These are the best. They don't set back or wear out.

Snap caps are a great way to train but please be careful with them.  Count the number you have before you start and make sure you have the same number when you finish.  The plastic base can wear off/ down and then then the caps lodge in your barrell.  Makes for a bad day if the next round is live.

Tactical Gear in Forrest Park carries them in several calibers.
