[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rear Ended

In Oct. some guy rear ended my truck. His car was damaged and unable to drive; no damage to my truck. He received a citation from the police but has not paid the fine
and is going to court on Thursday. I was sent a subpoena to appear and I will be there.

Any advice for me on this matter?

just show up, you didn't do anything wrong, and are probably just needed as a witness for 30 seconds to confirm what you and the officer will say about the incident and the cause for the fine-

The other thing is the judge will probably ask to be sure any damage to your vehicle was repaired by the other person's insurance.
