Guys the next service rifle match at Creekside is upon us on January 1st.
Its at 1300 so I dont want to hear any excuses that " I was hungover and couldnt make it". Volly is 40 rounds long. Usually 10 slow fire standing, 10 rapid fire kneeling or sitting, 10 rapid fire prone, and 10 semi rapid fire prone with a mag change. And who knows someone might just do a bayonet charge. |

2 questions: Is this one 100 yds, or 2/300? Will there be more than one relay? I would like to bring a new shooter, and if there are 2 relays we could share stuff. There probably will be multiple relays depending on the number of shooters who show. I believe that this one is going to be 100 with some simulated 2 or 300 targets. The last one I shot there were two relays and all shots were taken at 100 yards. |

Nah, its not like an NRA/DCM match where the rules are tight. ( if it were, only about 3 guns there last time would have been allowed to shoot. Very strict rules for Service Rifle in High Power) Its there to introduce shooters to the HP concept, meet other shooters and get people involved in the old school shooting... you know... marksmanship without batteries.. |
