| did anyone go to show in carrollton? and how was it? |
there was a guy trying to sell a young military guy an AR15 lower for like 500 bucks , his customer built trigger was the reason the lower was so expensive. i was looking at his 18 dollar worn out usgi mags and laughing about that with my buddy when i over-heard this right next to me , the kicker was his "custome trigger" would only work in that lower because it was specifically made for that lower . i ask the guy if the lower was mil.spec. and the trigger pins were mil.spec. also, he replied yes but the trigger was a custome single stage he builds in shop along with suppressors. the funny thing about that was the stag LPK bag on the table and the JP spring kit laying next to it, both empty. i told the kid to walk away , glad he did. this same guy was selling accurized SKS rifles at the Savannah show last time i went, you guys didn't know that was the perfered weapon of the British SAS didn't you , that's what he told my friend![]() . the AR bunker had some very nice Del-Ton kit rifles for 1,100 to 1,400 bucks and a nice selection of pistols, along with the 200 dollar Double Star lowers. GA Arms ammo guy was the winner for sure

| I worked the Carrollton show for GCO. There was one table selling a stripped beat to shit RRA lower for $225 one guy had a sign on his back for P-Mags that were $45 a piece, I ended up trading an old HK USP mag and old Surefire X200 weapon light for 2 brand new 20 rnd straight mags, and 7 USGI 30 rnd mags. Got deal considering the I got the light from a friend for $25 and the mag for $6. |
