Good Luck, and have patience. If your getting your getting your item from Mark, (BookHound) try to give the guy a break. Some people call him everyother day asking if their forms are back yet. In the thirty minutes my wife and I were there , the phone just kept ringing and he kept saying, no man it's not back yet. He will call you or email you as soon as he gets it back. I mailed mine off on about the 8th of Sept, check cashed 11 Sept, Mark emailed me last Tuesday night that the form 4 was back. Picked up my m4-2000 from BookHound Sunday. He is really good people, he let me get it then instead of waiting for Monday.

Thats the best way to handle it.

From my understanding they are mailed to Atlanta, money removed and checks cashed, from there they are sent to Virginia or West Virgina one by mail and that is where they are approved/denied. |

Dont forget to email at least once a day in case you miss Mark on one of his runs to AAC. Remember the more pressure we put on Mark, the more likely he is to call the BATFE and get our stuff pushed to the top of the pile.  Huh, I was just gonna call him every hour between 8 and 8. He ignores his email too much.

You can call the NFA branch to check on the status of a form Just know who the seller and buyer is and the Serial number of the NFA item. Their number is304-616-4500 . Just do not call them every day :) They will tell you if it is:  In the system
