| What model of the Peltor hearing stuff do you and your dad use? |

I've got a pair of the Peltor 6s and they do OK if you're outside. If you are using them inside they seem to amplify all the wrong things like exhaust fans, they also seem to static more inside.
I'm a smiple guy and I normally use the foam type ear plugs and I'm proud to say that I didn't pay full price for my Peltor's because I was not impressed. There's got to be some other high speed guys on here with some other gear though. |

I am not Carver but here is my .02 cents
I like my peltor tactical 7 ears. Great for outdoor ranges, I can hear all the line commands or instructions. I didn't relize how much I liked them until I couldn't use them when I shot the KD course before I went to Iraq. It was difficult to hear the range nazis. I usally turn them off and use them as basic ear pro on indoor ranges. I got mine on sale for $60 I think. The Bald Monk |

Thanks Monk. I figured it out that carver has the Tactical 6 ears.
I'm gonna have to look at both, the 7's look a little more bulky than the 6's, but they are obviously a slightly newer gen from how the white paper reads. I'm concerned with cheek-eye alignment on my bolt/ar scopes with these. |
