I have the opportunity to pick up a compm2 in very good condition for $270. I'm having an internal struggle right now as to whether I should go ahead and spend the money.

That's a good price, if it's in good shape.  Just make sure it's not a Chinese knockoff.

Quick question but do you think the 4 MOA compared to the 2MOA dot is too widespread? Or is it sufficient at 100 and below yards.

Also do they have compM2 covers or will M3 covers fit?

Unless you're using a magnifier, you'll probably never notice the difference.

The M3 cover should fit as the only differences between the M2 and M3 are internal.

Thanks Brad. The magnifier is an option I'm leaving open for the future. And by future I also mean future rifle
