Hey guys, I've never used gunbroker and have been tasked with selling an item for my buddy. I was just wondering is shipping determined for the item once the auction has ended? Also as for the sales tax option...I'm somewhat lost.

You base the shipping off of a quote, or actual shipping.  Sales tax is only if you have a sales tax number for georgia.

What do you mean a sales tax number?

Its actually a s&w 2nd model HE I don't know how well it would do on the ee. I have already got offers but I think that with the ability to bid it will go a lot further.

As a private individual you can sell it and not charge sales tax. If you are a business  and the buyer is IN Georgia you must collect Sales Tax.

Yeah well, I myself wanted to do something really badass and detailed but if its for a logo for a t shirt with multiple logos I didn't think that would be the best route. I had to restrain myself. Lemme know how it goes.

The shipping charges are up to you as a seller.

I charge a flat rate of $25.00 for a handgun and $30.00 for a rifle which includes insurance.

Gunbroker's terms of use state that insurance is the seller's responsibility.

Remember, the buyer will take shipping charges into consideration when they are bidding!!
