I went to visit my addiction enablers at PSI yesterday to pickup a barrel and stock for my 10/22 and Paclite upper for my new MkIII. Mark decides I needed to test out the new 22lr AR upper.
Damn this thing is nice. I shot about 15 rnds through it and decided I needed one and bought it even though they didnt have one in stock. The 10/22 will just have to wait for the new barrel and stock.

And as always, Mark and Allen are some of the best people in the business to deal with.

Mark, could you please bring my Factory ruger upper with ya on Monday, I am gonna join you guys for the fun.

Dude, which one of us was giggling more?  LOL.

This is the kit:

On a lower with a can:

These kits blow away the Spike's one that I had hands down.  They use Tactical Solution's own bolt and carrier design.  No crappy Ciener junk.  VERY accurate.  Right out of the box I threw a Troy sight on it and had on windage click to make and three clicks on the front sight to be dead on at 35 yards with CCI ammo.  We weren't going to advertise these until we had a chance to play with them to make sure it was something we wanted to stock.  I'm sold is all I can say.  I still like the 10/22, but this conversion is what I had hoped my Spike's would be.

More info and better pics to come.

Awesome about Monday, man!  Yes, I will bring it.  See you tomorrow then.  Actually, I'll call you later about the plans.

Take care,

Mark

When will you have their barrels that work with the kit? I already have a Ceiner kit but I am considering dumping that for their version with the dedicated barrel.

Also, will you have any of those fancy .45 mags by the unmentionable shoot coming up?

I can say that the price isnt too bad for the quality. You really need to see one in person and shoot it.

I was there for the "fun and more" ...it's everything you have been looking for, except free of course ;)

Could you do a full comparison for those looking to pick up a 22 upper ? I was going to go with Spike's, but with some info with TS new upper I might switch over.

Thanks

I'm on the list if he has some more and the test goes well.

Mark, the M4-1000 or M4-2000 will look a lot better than the Pilot. Plus, you can use your M4 F/A lower and shoot the heck out of it at full auto rate for the price of the 22lr's ammo. That bad boy will sell ifself when you do the demo, a big smile, a no recoil, cheaper to shoot and no NOISE...

Once you see it and shoot it, it sells itself. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Hey Mark, I know I finger banged this thing today and ran a mag thru it ... but I didnt notice on the FSB ..... is it pinned on? if its pinned I am assuming that the barrel has been drilled for the pins correct?

I have one of those bad boys on the way. Got to shoot one of them today at Creekside and it is a real sweet piece. They are quality uppers all they way. Thanks Mark.

Also thanks Allen for the 1911 tips. They work.

Mark was doing some real damage to that target with that Sig. I think he is going to be really pleased wtih it. I kinda hate parting with the 220, but it just did not feel right in my hands. I think I will like my Commander better though. Allen gave me some really good tips on shooting the 1911.

They drill the barrel and set screw the FSB in place.

I dry fired that Sig three hours last night and practiced changing mags.  I'm really digging that Sig.

$575 with one magazine included.

We don't have these on our site yet because we really were just wanting to play with them enough to make sure they were something we wanted to carry.  Our stocking inventory should be here this week.

Can it be had with a shorter barrel?  Something of the 7-10 inch variety?
