Had an oppurtunity to drive out to these guys in Carrolton today to get mt SBR engraved.  To say I was impressed is an understatement.  These guys seem to really enjoy what they do and their pride shows in their work.  Just a great group of guys to meet, and the engraving on my SBR turned out nice.

I believe so.  And then the insurance company had a hissy fit or something, so they kept what they wanted and sold the business off to another person or something.  I was impressed with the shop though.  Big, well lit, organized, and clean.  Examples of their work were "here and there", and you could really see they enjoy what they fool around with.  Plus they were just a nice group of guys.  I need to find a reason to get back out there someday in the future to see their cool toys again.

EDIT TO ADD:
I'll see if I can get some pics here in a minute.

That pic makes it look like we must have used a nail to scratch that in for you The flash reflects really good off that shiny aluminum underneath the finish on those receivers.

Here is a reprint of some engraving, and we were glad to have you out, 03ranger

Yeah, my blackberry phone camera does no justice to the engraving job.  The engraving on those bolts is impressive by the way.  Its a great small detail on a large piece of machinery.   I am going to have to come up with an excuse to go back out there because I want to see that black APC when its done!

How deep is the engraving? Will it meet the ATF spec of .003" deep ?
