A few years ago, I was working down in the Caribbean on Barbados, Grenada, and St. Lucia. St. Lucia, by far, is the prettiest of those three islands and the people seem to lead a better life there than the other two. On all three islands, I got way out of the tourist areas as, like I said, I was doing telecom work and went all over all three islands. I recall posting pics of Barbados and Grenada a long time ago, but don't recall posting any of St. Lucia. Even if I did, I just wanted to post them so y'all could get an idea of how nice it is down there. On the way there from Barbados and approaching St. Lucia:       At my hotel was a Norwegian family and I just happened to get shots of the little girl's very first steps. It was pretty cool. Nice pic's! My wife and I went there on our honeymoon. The town of Soufriere is a pretty cool place. It's hard to imagine the island is 15 miles wide and 30 miles long, yet it takes 1.5 hrs to drive from one side to the other, due to terrain and poor roads. Beatiful place though! I'd go back in a heartbeat. |
