So my company was sold as of today. The new owner's first order of business was to layoff the low man on the totem pole in every department. At one and half years with the company, I was the low man in purchasing, and got the axe. If anyone's company is hiring or if you know someone who is hiring, please let me know. I have experience in purchasing (1 1/2 years), auto parts (to many years to count), route sales (6 years), commercial sales (several years), and customer service (several years). I'm also computer literate. Thanks, Adam |

This year is looking really good actually. The number of stolen automobiles, robbery's, kidnappings, and drug related crimes are all up. Good luck in your job search. Have you thought about America's Service Stations? I know they pay their managers and assistant managers very well. |
My future father in law works for advance delivering parts for $10 an hour. Not bad for sitting on his butt and talking to folks 8 hours a day. Good luck with the job hunt. |

I have accepted job offer. I'll be the new Asst. Service Manager at the Pep Boys on Pleasant Hill in Duluth. I'll have to take a slight pay cut, but not too much. In the past I spent 6+ years at Pep Boys as a counterman, Service Writer, Commercial Sales Manager, and Parts Manager. We just have to wait on the background check and drug test to come back. |

I thought Pep Boys was closing down? All the ones I have seen in the Dekalb Co area are closing up. Not sure if its just the area or what, but it seemed like they were shutting all stores down. I know that their warehouse is one exit away from me and they always have their "Now Hiring" banner on the building. Best of luck to you! |
