Well, you decide. I recently Sent Him an E-Mail in reference to HB 89 and HB 915. here is the e mail:

Senator Williams,
I understand that the Senate is promising to bring only one "gun bill" to the floor for a vote. It seems that bill will be HB 89. While HB 89 may be a step in the right direction, more is needed. I ask that you to add HB 915 as an amendment to HB 89, or, at the very least, add section 4 of HB915 as an amendment to HB 89. This would repeal the Public Gathering Law and would also repeal most other places off limits for those with a Firearms License.
As a sworn Peace Officer, I feel strongly that Law abiding citizens should be able to protect themselves everywhere in Georgia. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Nine5Three

And this little nugget is what I got back: (no changes, this is word for glorious word)

89 will pass right away. If we change it on the floor the house might not agree and we get into a fight. Both may pass on their on anyway.
Tommie

W T F, over?

Sounds like he terrified of getting a negative rating from the NRA. It also sounds like he is pro-gun. He sounds like a good candidate for a face to face meeting.

As a sworn Peace Officer,

It is good to see real police officers standing up for what is right for non-police officers.  I just wanted to say thank you.

He did say change it "on the floor" which is what the chairman was complaining about as well. They passed a committee substitute...
