Mine arrived 10 mins ago via UPS.  Well worth the money by the looks of it.

Thanks for the heads up DKing

I really like mine as well easily worth the $50 MSRP in quality. The mat is black on one side, dark khaki on the other, has gripper material for your knees. There's a flap that folds out at the front of the mat to keep dirt and crap from flying everywhere. Grommets in each corner, to be staked down for extra stabilization. The mat rolls up, has nice velcro closures with loops on top of the closure to stay put. There's also a long strap for carrying, like a duffel bag handle.

Varmit- You have to go to Floyd Co to shoot. You poor poor man!

Well my place is free until deer season starts, plus its good for several hundred yards, which is hard to come by around where I live.  I get to shoot along a powerline right of way as it is on the hunt club property.

Just drive the speed limit. I was a Public Defender there for a year. You don't want to attract attention.

They stopped by this weekend.  Locals called the cops cos my first set of rounds downrange were at 7:30 and were rapid fire, so it probably sounded like a war zone.

Showed them my club membership, and was good to go.  Asked me why I was shooting so early so I told him that it gets too damn hot as soon as the sun comes up over the tree line and sweat dripping in your eye when shooting isn't much fun.  I got the usual "Where are you from?" due to my accent and then he asked if guests were allowed, etc, etc.  Was fine with me but this was out in the country more so maybe that was why (property is on Brice Station Rd).

Have to go out there during the week next week to get my Kimber sighted in ready for deer season, as I can't use the range once archery season starts.

My mat came yesterday and I think it was well worth the money.  Now I need a range so I can go use it!
