Left home at 9:00am got back 4:10Pm. AMMO CANS where higher there than Franklin's. No varmint/tact type rifles to speck of..2 maybe. Paid $2.00 for half a can of coke. Looked for a case for my Kel Tec 2000. Guy from Fl. wanted $25.00 for one I would not hit a hog in the butt with. Only good part...talked to nice little blonde trying to sell a Tauraus PT111 or something like that. ![]() Rant over...hope everyone else had as bad of a day as I had. Just kidding. |
Assuming the OP is talking about the Macon show, that was one of the better ones in Central Georgia for sure, so I wouldn't bother go back if that one disappointed you. I bought three ammo cans. While I may have paid a little more than I could have paid elsewhere, they were in better condition than what I usually find, and the money I spend on gas to go get them elsewhere would probably eat up the savings on the cans. I don't know about 'varmint' rifles, but I saw a number of ARs, including Colts, Bushmasters, Rock River, Smith and Wesson, and DPMS. I also saw a PS90 and an FS2000. Are you talking about some other type of 'tactical' rifles? If you mean bolt action, etc., I didn't look at those too close. |

Well, at least no one tryed to run me down, Cletus. Hope your ok..read your post. I need some .30 cal cans. All I saw was .50 , SAW and 20mm. Franklin's has 4 or 5 sizes and where cheaper. I bought 3, a couple weeks ago. I'm reloading 45acps/9mm and find that it's hard to run with a full .50 cal can. I did get my wife an IPOD for her birthday at Wally World. |
This post is nonsensical! What's it supposed to mean? How about a translation? Did you mean "were" instead of "where?" Gun shop? Gun show? Your mother-in-law's house? |
