Soonest I can do it would be in August.

Anyone got any ideas on a more efficient way of cleaning that mess up?

I'm game for a cleanup.  I think that there is no good way to get all of that crap up other than manual labor.

would you be able to get the DNR to open the gate so we could drive down?  If so, I could bring a tractor and scrape blade that would take put the first few inches of brass into a pile

Having never been to Madison but would like something closer to home to shoot the fun stuff.

So my question is , Is the path from parking to shooting area big enough to ride a 4wheeler down?  If so I have a sub compact tractor w/ drag box & scrap blade.  This will at least pile the stuff up to make it easier to shovel into a trailer or dumpster.

Cables across pathway which were wide enough for washers and dryers which is why they put up cables in the first place. Ranger at C Elliott told me that was a Federal Range not a state range whatever that means.

That the DNR cannot enforce their "Range Rules", meaning we can shoot all of the fun stuff.
