What exactly are you wanting done? Are you just wanting to buy one, build one, etc?

So, you are just wanting an AR assembled? Pretty easy task and lots of us can help. Just requires a few special tools.

I believe any lower will do just as long as it is marked pistol on the 4473.

Well, the first help I'll offer is to suggest you SBR that lower.

Just buy a stripped lower. Call Joseph Kiser and he'll sell you a lower and will write on the 4473 that it is a pistol. Joseph can then probably help you build everything you need. Everything can be done in one trip!

do you have to go through a background check for any of those forms? (sbr, NFA, etc?) i have a GFL license, but i cant pass anything federal as far as background checks go. apparently they dont see dead docketed items like georgia does.

and jkiser said that all of his lowers are marked as rifles...

You go through a FBI background check when you buy any firearm from a dealer (NICS). If you file a form to build an SBR you will go through an additional background check as part of the process, run by the BATFE.

i dont do the background thing because i have a GFL(or ccw, whatever you want to call it) im wondering if my CCW can substitute for the federal check. they dont see dead docketed cases like georgia does, no fricken way i would pass one.
