How do you tell by looking at an existing barrel if it is chrome lined? Thanks. |

Sometimes if the barrel is unmarked you can look at the exit end. If there is a silver shine that looks to be "splatter", it can be the chrome. Check a AK47 barrel as you often can see it. If the barrel has been target crowned - I use a dry 5.56 wipe. If the wipe slides easy - probably chrome. If there is drag - chrome molly. |
