She means the Eric the Hun shoot in Texas in May.  They usually have a good turn out.  DeltaAir423 went a year or so ago.  Makarov_Mami lives out in TX now, but lived in GA for a bit.

Hun Farm = Eric the Hun's family land on the Pease river in N. Central Texas.  It's several days of shooting, TexRdnec grilling, plenty of beverages, good laughs, and you can see the Gheyness of TRG and 1GR first hand.

Delta and I went last Spring, it is a good time!!!!   Eric the Hun is a most gracious host and the Texas crew are equally gracious.   Delta and I went without firearms due to flying but the Texas crew quickly armed us.

Sorry to mislead you, you will still need a camper, the Lodge is DFW and about IIRC about 3 hours away from the Hun farm.

The Lodge is a very nice nudie club with very nice scenery, it is by far the nicest I have ever seen.

I don't know, some of the clubs in South Carolina are pretty nice.  The Landing Strip in Greenville (near the airport of course) and a couple of clubs in Myrtle Beach are pretty, shall we say, lenient.  Won't go into further detail here.

I am renting a pop-up A-Liner (it's a hard shell popup) from Camping Time next week for Sebring.  We could rent the same type of camper from them for this.  Will we have power or will we need a generator?

We can split the cost of the pop-up, gas, and a generator if needed.  The pop-up goes for about $370 for a week.  They have weekend rates as well.  How long will we need it?

Got a firm date?  Let me rephrase that, do we have a specific date?

I'll go over to the TX forum to check the dates, there is no power out there but I guess it would be optional anyways.  Most people sit around the Campfire and watch the TX crew throw each others lawn chairs in the fire or sit around a latern enjoying a drink and shooting the fat.  Also, there is shooting of chem lights on the Pease river too, fun stuff.   Most of the day is spent shooting the toys, many let you run a few mags through their FA toys, also tannerite too.

I would love to go except for 2 issues

1.  Confederate Nationals
2.  Friends coming into town from oversees.

What are the dates, because I'm sure my buddy coming over from Australia would love a chance to have some full auto fun!

May 5-7.  I can carry 3 people besides myself in the truck.  However, the camper will be small, but I have several tents I can loan for the weekend.

The Confederates are the 19th -21st, so the dates are good.

Let me see what I can do.  :)

FYI 2 wheel would not be the best vehicle to go out there.  It's been done, but the ruts were pretty deep last May.

ETA: Mami, I'd love to go back out but I'll be in IN working as an independent contractor.  What that means is that I have to do all that they request, or they will fire my ass.  I'll have to see what the October campout looks like.

ETA again:  Gratuituous Booze Pic.

After talking to Wayne (ETH), I have decided to get a hotel room in Quanah, TX for about $52 a night instead of towing a camper.  There is another hotel for about $42 a night.

Anyone interested?  I will be taking the truck with a covered and alarmed 6 foot bed, so there will be plenty of room for stuff.  It's a crew cab.

Cool.   I hope Buzzstrike has been briefed on the gheyness he is going to encounter upon entering the vicinity of TRG and 1GR.   Remember, don't let 1GR drive your vehicle and keep your chairs bolted down so they don't end up in the fire.

Larry, nevermind on the tent but thank you for your generous offer.
