It 's a ewbanks..... It took a little fittling but I am used to that.... I would rather any project have too much metal than not enough.... I was contemplating shooing it today, but was worried about headspace  .... Being the worrying type I finally figured a way to get close.... I used tin foil(not on my head) on the back of a cartridge it measured .001 so I folded it 4 times and checked the bolt..... 3 times still no go 2 times almost.... Aww heck cartridge NO tin foil.... just would close  SUCCESS....Now on to shooting and finishing....  A thanks goes out to bodydropper762 for loan of the mag for fitting and to bookhound for tolerating my constant I.M.'s To kletz for posting the pics... To all for you kind words...Thanks all |
Thanks AMECH Coming from you I am truly flattered.... As for the finish its still bare. I will take the entire unit to be matte blued after I shoot it... BTW I still want to get with you about the flats (at your convenience of course)..... Methinks more kits are in order... This has been fun but like a book coming to an end I am already look forward to the sequal...
